What is a tamale?

A tamale is a wrapped hand-held food basically prepared with corn masa and filled up with multiple ingredients. We do prepared meat, vegetarian, vegan and sweet fillings and we have them in two different kinds of natural wraps: corn husk or banana leaf.

Pork with tomatillo sauce

Shredded chicken breast with mole sauce (mole /’mōlā/ is a sauce prepared with dried-chiles, different nuts, condiments, spices and chocolate).

From a street taco to a gourmet tamale, we cook this daring combination with spicy marinated chunks of pork, pineapple and onions.

Strips of roasted poblano pepper, fresh red salsa made with chile de arbol and deliciously melted muenster cheese.

Carrots, zuchinnis and bell peppers oven roasted with olive oil paired with feta cheese.


Xochitl and queso fresco

Converted in a tamale from being a traditional soup, we transform this wonderful combination of roasted poblano peppers, calabacita, corn, epazote and queso fresco to be one of our favorites.


Vegan tamales


Spinach and caramelized onions. Fresh chopped spinach sautéed in olive oil and caramelized onions.



Lightly sautéed in olive oil mushrooms with epazote and onions.


Nopalitos cactus

Thin strips of nopales and onions sautéed in olive oil and seasoned with a bit of oregano.


Banana leaf tamales


Extraordinaire south mexican recipe with shredded chicken, mole, prunes, raisins, fried plantains and black olives.
